Architectural Alliance began this project with a study of the Central Florida region to identify concepts and imagery to develop an appropriate sense of place design concept. The garden, water and flight theme was then integrated with a concession master plan, design criteria, and implementation plan resulting in a US$25 million retail redevelopment project in the main terminal. A second phase including additional renovated retail areas and public spaces will open in 2005.
