Fresh Air: A Breath of Excitement in Alaska

The Ted Steven’s Anchorage International
Airport includes airfield and roadway improvements and an integrated train station
for the Alaskan Railroad as well as new jet and regional air carrier gates, ticketing and baggage claim areas, and redevelopment of the existing terminal and concourses.

Architectural Alliance is responsible for the interior terminal planning and interior architecture for the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport Terminal and Concourse Expansion. The design celebrates Alaska’s landscape, history, and culture.

The goal is to develop and implement a uniform theme for the airport’s architecture and interiors that captures the uniqueness, magnitude and energy of the state.
